Packet pick-up is August 4, 2017 at the Mahomet-Seymour Field House from noon to 7 pm (CDT). Race day registration and packet pick-up is available from 5:30 am to 6:45 am (CDT) on August 5, 2017 at the Mahomet-Seymour Field House

  • ALL RUNNERS MUST HAVE A RACE NUMBER AND IT MUST BE PINNED ON THE FRONT OF SHIRT OR SHORTS.
  • The half marathon and 10K starts at 7:00 am. The start line is located to the east of the main entrance to the high school parking lot on State Street. The 5K starts at 7:20 am, with the start line to the west of the entrance to the high school parking lot on State Street. Course closing times: 55 minutes for 5K run; 3 hours and 5 minutes for half marathon.
  • Run Defensively! Traffic is not restricted outside the Mahomet Village limits, so runners must be aware of traffic on the course and especially at intersections with county roads.
  • There will be a lead vehicle for each race, and a sag wagon following the last participants.
  • An EMS crew will be on site for medical assistance on the course and at the finish line.
  • There will be water approximately every mile. Five Gatorade stations are located throughout the course, and one GU station can be found between miles 8 and 9.
  • All registered participants must cross the finish line to confirm their chip time.
  • Porta-potties will be available near the start line and at the mid-point of the half marathon course. The restrooms at the south end of the field house will be available during registration. There will also be bathrooms and showers available after the race. The showers are located in the high school locker rooms. (Check with a volunteer for directions.)
  • Water, Gatorade and many different food options will be located at the post-race hospitality area.
  • Massage therapists and chiropractic adjustments will be available after the race.
  • Awards presentations will be held on the high school athletic field near the finish line at approximately 8:15 am for the 5K and at 9:30 am for the half marathon.
  • All results will be posted near the awards area within 30 minutes after each race is completed, and on the race website (RunMahomet.com) by Saturday evening.
  • Cash awards of $300, $150 and $75 will be given to overall top three male and female winners in the half marathon. Awards will be given to the top two male and female Masters winners (over 40) in each race (not eligible for age group).
  • All half marathon finishers receive a medal.
  • Awards for top 3 finishers (male & female) in the half marathon and 5K run: 10 and under (5K only), 11-14 (5K only), 14 and under (half only), 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up
